About Your Role


As a Lawncare and Landscaping Team Member, who reports to the Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding services to clients across the area. From the beginning of the project, you will review the project plan with the team leader. You will then work with the team lead to implement the landscape construction plan and ensure each job has the appropriate resources and materials each day. Project plans will be completed by operating a variety of mechanical equipment such as zero turn and stand-on mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, drills, and more, as well as a variety of vehicles such as our dump truck and truck/trailer combinations to a skid steer. Your strong leadership and communication skills are sure to shine as you address any questions or concerns from customers and as you work cohesively as a member of the team. In the end, our goal is to successfully ensure the project plan is completed in a time-efficient manner and according to the company's high quality and customer satisfaction standards.

Position Overview:


  • Efficiently implements the landscape construction plan through the planning and organizing of the job, ensuring appropriate resources and materials are available, and through the use of a variety of mechanical equipment, tools, and vehicles
  • Possibly apply fertilizer and chemicals under the direction of a licensed custom applicator
  • Assists the Team Leader in completing necessary paperwork (timesheets, work orders, material orders, job sheets)
  • Operate a variety of mowers, line trimmers, edgers, hedge shears, lopping shears, blowers, etc
  • Builds effective and engaging working relationships with clients and staff
  • Provides exceptional customer service by answering questions, responding to client requests, and managing reasonable changes to the job plan
  • Conducts a thorough walk-through with client(s) upon job completion
  • Maintains assigned equipment and notifies mechanic of needed repairs
  • Follows all company policies and protocols while consistently adhering to all safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Helps, as necessary, with the snow removal during the winter months

About Your Qualifications:


  • Minimum of one year experience in landscape / lawn care industry (preferred, but not required)
  • Holds a high school diploma or GED and is able to read and write
  • Knowledge of standard horticultural practices, including but not limited to planting, pruning, fertilization
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and across uneven terrain for extended periods of time
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Talented in working independently, yet cohesively, as part of a team
  • Current driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to provide excellent references with respect to reliability and a strong work ethic

Job Type: Full-Time OR Part-Time


Hours: 30-40 hours per week; Average SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; occasional Saturdays! Sundays are off, so you can relax and spend time with your friends and family.

Pay Rates / Pay Scale: Average, starting pay at $15.00 per hour (or more) depending on mastering certain skills and work ethic.
